Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Brand Marketing plays a pivotal role in advancing NARS' marketing objectives and strategies within the competitive US market. This position is essential for updating and maintaining key marketing tools that are integral to supporting business strategy and brand growth. The Brand Coordinator ensures that NARS remains agile and responsive to market dynamics, facilitating strategic decision-making and effective resource allocation.

In addition to managing essential marketing tools, the coordinator supports the timely delivery of US forecasts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gather and disseminate information. This role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, from conducting comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to supporting external partnerships and facilitating the execution of innovative marketing initiatives. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, the coordinator enhances communication and collaboration across the organization, ensuring alignment on marketing strategies and initiatives that resonate with consumers and drive business growth.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

360 Launch Planning and Execution SupportSupport the Brand Manager with day-to-day management by providing up-to-date launch timing and innovation information. Engage proactively with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and maintain accurate launch calendars by incorporating retailer updates and communicating changes to stakeholders.Oversee the forecasting process to ensure timely submission of marketing forecasts. This involves creating fact sheets, updating forecast trackers with deadlines, coordinating sample forecasts, managing pre-series forecasting activities, conducting shade penetration for key launches.Support the Brand Manager with developing comprehensive 360-degree launch decks, managing launch recaps capture feedback, and communicating key learnings to key stakeholders.Foster relationships with external partners such as The Campus Agency, Power Reviews, and Subscription Box partners to enhance brand affinity and loyalty, strategically distributing product and tactical information to ensure the successful execution of initiatives.Market Research and Competitive Analysis

Conduct comprehensive market research and deep dives to track and analyze key competitor activities, new product launches, and promotional campaigns, with a specific focus on digital platforms.Identify industry trends and shifts in consumer behavior to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Ensure the brand remains agile and responsive to market changes.Summarize research findings into clear reports and presentations to support strategic decisions and marketing initiatives. Communicate key insights effectively to stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.Cross-functional Support and Coordination

Support the Brand Marketing Team with ad hoc requests and analyses using tools like Item Master Attribute and NPD. Coordinate and compile information for meetings and major presentations, and prepare, maintain, and distribute marketing documents and reports.Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders:

U.S. Digital Marketing:

Support the Digital Marketing team by providing insights on market trends to refine messaging strategies for cohesive and impactful digital campaigns.U.S. Retail Marketing:

Coordinate with the Retail team to communicate product launch updates seamlessly and execute retail strategies effectively, ensuring a successful omni channel presence.Global Marketing and Product Development:

Ensure effective coordination with the Global Marketing and Product Development teams to deliver accurate and timely product launch information, supporting informed decision-making and strategic alignment.F inance and Sales:

Collaborate with the Finance and Sales teams to ensure timely and accurate invoice management.External Partners:

Facilitate relationships with key brand marketing partners, such as IPSY and Power Reviews, and ensure accurate product information and marketing strategies are communicated when needed.Financial Accountability

Partner with Brand Manager to ensure Master Pricing Overview reflects most up-to-date and accurate COGS and SRP informationQualifications & Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field, preferably 2 years of work experience.Proven experience in marketing coordination or similar role. Prior experience in the beauty industry is a plus, bringing valuable insights and expertise to the role.Strong understanding of beauty marketing, consumers, and social media platforms.Ability to weigh in with ideas on marketing plans, programs and manage external partnersExceptional oral, written, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to others.Analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.A proactive, energetic team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, creative and leadership skills.A self-starter with a go-getter attitude and an eagerness to grow, learn new skills, and pick up new tasks as they grow in the role.A strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback.Software expertise - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
