Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Manager of Corporate Development to assist in driving their company's growth through strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and partnerships. With 5-6 years of experience in Public Accounting (preferably Assurance or Transaction Advisory) corporate development, investment banking, or related fields, the Manager of Corporate Development will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing opportunities that align with our company's long-term objectives.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Along with the VP of Corporate Development, lead the corporate development team in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, and investments.Collaborate closely with C-suite executives to align corporate development strategies with overall business goals and growth targets.Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities that could impact the company's growth strategy.Manage the end-to-end deal lifecycle, including deal origination, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.Develop detailed financial models, perform valuation analyses, and assess potential risks and benefits of various strategic opportunities.Prepare compelling presentation materials, investment memorandums, and business cases to communicate findings, recommendations, and potential outcomes to senior leadership and the board.Foster relationships with external partners, investment firms, and industry stakeholders to source and evaluate potential deals.Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions, including legal, finance, operations, and integration teams.Monitor post-transaction performance and integration to ensure strategic and financial objectives are achieved.Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors that could impact the company's strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5-6 years of experience in Public Accounting (Preferably Assurance or Transaction Advisory), Investment Banking, or direct Corporate DevelopmentStrong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.Track record of successfully executing complex M&A transactions, from deal sourcing to integration.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.Deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging market opportunities.Proven ability to negotiate deals, build relationships, and collaborate with external partners.Experience in leading due diligence efforts, assessing risks, and identifying mitigation strategies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, financial modeling software, and data analysis tools.
