Smashbox Studios is hiring a Studio Booker to work with the Studio Director and President, as a critical component to the success of this well-known hub among the photo and entertainment industries. He/She facilitates a high-touch client experience by leveraging Smashbox services and ensuring each production receives personalized treatment. As the face of the studio, they set the tone, ensuring a high-performing, yet warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Field booking and rental inquiries, assist with all questions and requests.Schedule booking holds, create estimates, negotiate final rates and contracts.Set up client accounts to establish a seamless billing process, keep all information up to date and valid.Develop ongoing relationships with Brands, Producers, Photographers, Photo Assistants, Directors, Photo Agents, Agency Producers, Art Buyers, and Publicists.Actively develop new business by conducting sales outreach, meetings, presentations, attending local industry events, as well as following up with current and past clientele.Consistently reach monthly sales goal targets.Monitor and report sales metrics and continually develop strategies to improve KPIs.Hire, maintain and manage staff for cafe and front of house.Keep all staff members informed of logistical details pertinent to the productions taking place.Oversee maintenance and quality control throughout studio, lobby and cafe areas.Continually improve on presentation and client experience.Close all studio billing, as well as oversee and manage the administrator position, keeping AR/AP up to date and coordinating with the accounting department.Manage the studio team to ensure new and recurring clients have successful experiences, remaining enthusiastic Smashbox Studios clients.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of photo studio or on-set production experience.Existing network of photo industry relationships.Excellent customer service awareness.High-level attention to detail and organization.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Leadership experience and awareness.Strong team player.Mastery of sales/negotiation/closing process.Understanding of legal contract language.Resourceful, attempting solutions before escalating.Ability to anticipate potential problems and knowing when to ask for help.Skill in MS Office (Excel, Word, databases), G Suite and competence in other popular business systems.

Benefits The anticipated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including experience, the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
