We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented

Account Manager

to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple client accounts, managing the scopes of work, and ensuring the successful execution of various communication and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agency-side public relations. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication and client management skills, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Client Management and Relationship Building:Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.Manage scopes of work across multiple accounts, ensuring timely and within-budget deliverables.Develop and implement PR and marketing communication plans aligned with client goals.Collaborate with clients to understand their brand, target audience, and messaging.Provide regular updates, address concerns promptly, and identify upsell opportunities.Project Management and Team Collaboration:Work with cross-functional teams (creative, digital, strategy) to ensure project alignment.Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document outcomes.Oversee PR activities, including media relations and securing earned media coverage.Coordinate with internal teams to deliver high-quality materials and assets.Track and manage project budgets, invoices, and expenses.Prepare regular reports and presentations on account progress and recommendations.Content Development and Storytelling:Create compelling stories (written and visual) across various platforms.Develop and manage content for digital and print platforms, ensuring consistent engagement.Write press materials, including pitches, releases, op-eds, memos, and reports.Manage email marketing campaigns, crafting content and analyzing performance.Strategic Communication and Research:Contribute research and creative ideas for strategic communication campaigns.Monitor industry trends and media coverage, providing strategic insights and recommendations.Administrative Support:Assist with project documentation, including contracts, proposals, and reports.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or a similar role within an agency.Exceptional client management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting messages and presentations.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.Keen eye for detail and proactive problem-solving attitude.Strong understanding of PR strategies, earned media, email marketing, and graphic design principles.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans.Strong analytical skills for data analysis and campaign performance tracking.Up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in PR and marketing.A strong interest in the media and corporate, advocacy and political industries, experience in press relations, message development and strategic planning (preferred).Creativity, energy, detail-orientation, and an entrepreneurial spirit (preferred).What We Will Give You:Competitive salaries and annual bonus opportunityFlexible hybrid remote/in office planRetirement plan with safe-harbor contributionPaid vacation and sick LeaveProfessional development stipend
