Position Description

This is a great opportunity to lead marketing for our LA-based toy group, Educational Insights, including strategic planning, portfolio management, new product launches, annual marketing plans, and talent development.

Key Performance Objectives (KPOs) During Your First Year Include

Coach and develop a team of 2 brand marketers and outside agencies to direct innovative strategy across owned channels (advertising, social media, PR, content creators, and events).Lead the development of quarterly and annual marketing plans, including seasonal strategies, new product support, and base business development.Develop launch plans for all new products, including positioning, messaging, and marketing assets.Direct social media, PR, and Content Creator strategy for the brand.Perform insights-driven market research and analysis to inform annual product development and marketing plans.Manage the brand’s annual marketing budget and track KPIs to report to leadership monthly.Support distribution growth and achievement of POS targets across retail channels.

Requirements/Preferences

Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)7-10 years’ experience in Brand Marketing, Digital and/or Social Media MarketingWilling to travel approximately 5-10 times/year to corporate HQ outside Chicago, IllinoisPeople management experienceData Driven with excellent analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate or advanced MS Office skillsConsumer packaged goods or toy industry background preferred
