Responsibilities:Write automation tools to support developers deploying and running cloud infrastructure.Implement and execute best practices and security standards for operating in the cloud.Champion best practices for cloud architecture and contribute to a library of shared terraform modules.Participate in investigations and RCA's to continuously improve by learning from failures when we hit the limits of our scale.Work with infrastructure tooling and be a good resource for forming cloud infrastructure as code.Participate in on-call rotations.Provide support to dev teams for our tooling and platform.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.7+ years of relevant experience.4+ years of experience with Kubernetes or EKS.3+ years of experience with Python or Go.3+ years of experience with Airflow and either Spark or Flink.2+ years of experience with Databricks leading architecture and design of scalable Databricks environments on AWS, ensuring they meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.Advanced expertise in AWS, Terraform, automation, and devops workflows.Experience with Spinnaker and Docker.

Preferred Qualifications:AWS Certifications.Experience with Unix/Linux systems.Experience with Airflow, Spark, and Flink on Data Bricks.Experience with Istio.

Compensation:The hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA or New York, NY is between $149,300 - 200,200, Los Angeles, CA is between $156,300 - $209,600 year, in San Francisco is between $163,500 - $219,200. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
