tomorrow is yours to define… Forever!The Sr. Apparel/Accessories Designer will be responsible for creating product designs that are both cost-effective and innovative.Responsibilities

Translate design direction and fabric/trim selections into original designsCreate original flat sketches based on existing trends and mainstream designsWork with Design Team to create tech packs, ensuring designs accurately translate into development samplesCollaborate with Trend Forecasting Team on seasonal trends and conceptsResearch trends and bring in new ideas through competitive websites and store visits.Train and mentor Designers by offering constructive criticism and guidanceQualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Fashion Apparel DesignMust have 5+ years of Fashion Design experience in multiple design categoriesMust have strong leadership skillsMust be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Word, and ExcelMust have strong design aesthetic, color sense, and conceptual skillsMust be able to create flat sketches by handComprehensive knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, color/print usage, graphics, embellishment layouts, and trim requiredMust be flexible and adapt well to fast paced, rapidly changing work environmentMust be a team player, open to taking direction, and able to work well under pressureWhy we think you’ll love it here…At Forever 21, we foster an inclusive culture where everyone feels they belong. At Forever 21, you will have the opportunity to grow your retail career from stores to corporate and across our portfolio of brands under our parent, Sparc Group LLC!Salary and Equal Opportunity The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $108,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience. In addition to your salary, Forever 21, and its affiliated brands, offers a benefits package, including 401(k) plan, overtime pay, flexible work schedule and a generous employee discount program (all benefits are based on eligibility).SPARC Group LLC is an equal-opportunity employer.
