As a Public Relations Officer, you will work as part of a busy press office team. You’ll have a strong eye for a good news story, and proactively develop PR stories to support our strategic priorities. You’ll develop work on stories that place us at the heart of our neighbourhoods and make our local teams visible.Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:Working proactively and creatively with the team to build Peabody’s brand, reputation and influence.Researching, writing and pitching in press releases, working with colleagues to gather information.Supporting colleagues who speak at external events, managing a calendar of external events and developing relationships with conference organisers.Managing our media monitoring; system, ensuring colleagues receive daily alerts, and regular reports on key metrics.Ensuring effective evaluation of PR activity.Supporting the delivery of Peabody events and roundtable events.A minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office is required.A bit about us:160 years after it was established, Peabody is one of the oldest not-for-profit housing associations in the UK.The Peabody Group is responsible for more than 107,000 homes, with around 220,000 residents across London and the Home Counties.
