About Us: "A Life for Seniors" is a reputable senior living advisory service dedicated to helping seniors and their families find suitable senior housing options in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. We provide guidance and support in navigating the complexities of senior care and housing choices.

Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Senior Placement Advisor at "A Life for Seniors" in Cincinnati, Ohio, you will play a crucial role in assisting seniors and their families in finding the best senior living options that match their unique needs and preferences. Your expertise in senior care and housing will be instrumental in providing guidance, support, and peace of mind to our clients. We are looking for someone who is interested in a commission-based position (there may be the opportunity to become hourly in the future), working 10-40 hours a week depending on individual income goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Call/Visit healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, and elder care facilities to educate professionals regarding the services A Life for Seniors offers and generate referrals.

Develop partnerships with physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other health care professionals whose patients may be appropriate for assisted living services thereby increasing the number of clients served.

Strive to exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and year-over-year sales goals.

Develop Marketing Plan for new or existing markets.

Attend area networking and chamber events to meet with like-minded professionals.

Pursue, increase, and participate in marketing opportunities in the community.

Document all interactions with clients and referral sources in our database.

Be the expert in your territory for providing senior care options.

Tour communities and partner with them for client placement.

Meet with clients in person at their home, in a neutral location, or via phone.

Complete a Discovery with each client, based on a conversation with the senior and members of their family, including medical, social, psychological, and environmental factors.

Partner with medical professionals who are overseeing the medical needs of the client.

Provide appropriate care options for the client based on the Discovery findings, including action steps and community resources needed to carry out the assistance required by the client.

Qualifications:

Competitive and sales/marketing-driven with a track record of leading sales growth.

Excellence in closing/asking for the business.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and problem-solving; a good listener.

Great presentation skills.

Patience and compassion in dealing with clients and seniors are very important qualities.

A motivated self-starter who considers rejection a challenge to overcome.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

Enjoy connecting with seniors and families in person or on the phone.

Comfortable taking occasional calls after hours and periodic weekends on call.

Value seeing the direct results of your work translate to growth and success.

Experience working in medical sales, marketing, or customer service.

Responsive, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
