In this role, you will be working on all phases of design & construction documentation of projects supporting the development of Interior Design efforts. This position requires excellent design, time management, communication, and technical skills as you work closely with your team developing concepts from start to finish.

The firm has 11 offices all around the world focusing on healthcare, arts and culture, community, corporate, education, and government projects. Recently, the firm won the prestigious American Architecture Award for Museums and Cultural Building, along with IIDA Healthcare Design Award.

Responsibilities

Works to create design solutions with enduring impact though original insight.

Works with Architectural and Interior Design team to develop the interior design solutions for projects ranging from workplace, higher education, and other community and commercial buildings.

Researches materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.

Collaborates and communicates effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members.

Works within project schedules to prioritize tasks and coordinate the completion of documentation required from initial design phase through final project completion.

QualificationsPreferred candidates will have:

Four year degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited program.

3-5 years of interior design experience.

Fluent knowledge of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and/or other related graphic software programs is expected.

Knowledge of 3D programs such as Revit and/or Sketch-up.

Experience with space planning and technical skills including 3D visualization, design detailing, and construction documentation.
