With a passion for excellence, EPIC members continuously push boundaries and strive to make a real impact in the world.We are looking for an inspiring UX Manager to drive the vision for UKG’s next generation of products. This role calls for a strong, proactive leader and manager who dreams big and drives action, with a passion for design and a keen eye for details. You have extraordinary UX/UI design skills and proven experience in applying user-centered design principles. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, you can grasp and distill user problems and translate them into delightful and engaging solutions.As part of this role, you will be expected to manage a team of UX/UI designers across different geographies, provide coaching and actively bring out the best in your team by motivating and empowering them to innovate. Strong communication skills are key as you will need to develop and present strategies, concepts and designs to large groups, cross-functional teams, and executives. As a UX Manager, you are expected to partner with the rest of the UX leadership team to define and improve processes and nurture a fun and engaging work environment and team culture.If you are passionate about creating exceptional user experiences, leading a team of talented designers, and driving UX strategy within a dynamic organization, we would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of UX/UI designers, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a culture of innovation.Develop and implement a comprehensive UX strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.Set the direction and standard of excellence for UX/UI design across the suite of products.Advocate for user experience design, usability, and accessibility across the organization, effectively delivering executive-level presentations to internal and customer audiences.Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance user experiences.Drive and evangelize product design consistency through the governance and evolution of design systems.Collaborate with design system and branding teams to ensure consistent visual and brand identity across all user touchpoints.Assist in defining and improving design processes to support business initiatives.Manage commitments and deadlines across multiple projects and groups.Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of high-quality UX solutions.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of UX initiatives and identify areas for improvement.QualificationsRequired5+ years of work experience with a focus on product and UX/UI design across a variety of platforms including web, mobile, tablets, phablets and kiosks.2+ years of experience leading a team, motivating others to excel and creating an inspiring work environment and culture.Proficient in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision).Experience working in an Agile development environment.We work in a hybrid model; the ability to work on site in either Lowell or Weston 3 days per week is required, from day one of employment.PreferredDegree in Human Factors, Engineering, Design, Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar.A passion for design and a great eye for detail.Strong problem-solving and design thinking skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.EEO Statement
