A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Research Affiliates, LLC, a global leader in smart beta and asset allocation, seeks a Web/UX Designer for our Newport Beach, California office.This role is for a full-time Web / UX Designer position that involves supporting various activities related to creating and sharing marketing content, which provides insights to the investment community and establishes a strong brand identity for ongoing commercial success.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to, assisting in building the design and user experience of our websites and other HTML applications, transforming our business requirements into functional and visually appealing interactive applications, ensuring an excellent user experience, and meeting marketing expectations. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional who is eager to explore new digital technologies and aims to blend usability with visual design.Although this role is based in the Product Management/Marketing team, there will be collaboration with the Enterprise Systems, Research, Technology, and Compliance teams on various projects.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist senior members of the team with marketing-related development tasks, including but not limited to:Maintaining and improving the company websites and other digital applications as necessaryOptimize all applications for maximum speed, performance, and conversionCollaborate with back-end developers and graphic designers to improve efficiencies, usability and overall experienceProvide analytics of all website properties and report performance and opportunitiesWrite functional requirement documents and guidesCreate quality mockups and prototypesEnsure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistencyStay up-to-date on emerging technologiesSkills/Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, requiredProven work experience as a front-end designer, requiredProficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Vector/SVG/Bitmap images, and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), requiredExtensive experience with HTML and CSS, requiredIn-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment), requiredUnderstanding of layout aesthetics and knowledge of SEO, requiredExperience with Semrush, Adobe AEM, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, preferredFamiliarity with browser testing and debugging, preferred3-5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferredKnowledge of financial services and investment management, a plusPersonal Attributes
