You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.What you'll do:Create captivating and professionally branded presentations so that leadership, partners, and product owners can effectively present ideas and products.Create and manage asset libraries for reusable, systematic presentation design.Work closely with designers, copywriters, product managers, executives, and other cross-functional partners to evolve brand design systems and help create engaging experiences.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help shape the evolution of the brands, products, voice, and strategy.Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-disciplinary stakeholders.Inspire, create, and sustain a culture of excellence by helping to develop best practices and design processes that enable agility and smooth cross-functional collaboration.About the Team:The U.S. Omni & Platforms Tech Strategic Communications team is part of Walmart Global Technology, focusing on diverse brand-centric projects. These include associate engagement programs, digital internal and external products, videos, presentations, collateral, and more. Our multidisciplinary brand designers are involved in everything from developing engaging communications for our organizational strategy to crafting comprehensive end-to-end experiences for our customers and associates.What you will bring:You’ll thrive as a Senior Visual Designer if you:Have 6+ years of relevant design experience (either working for in-house creative teams or agencies).Have a design portfolio with presentation designs, brand, and illustration work showing projects you’ve worked on and led.Are a natural collaborator and strong communicator (written and verbal) who thrives in ambiguity, adapts quickly to changes, manages time efficiently, and excels in fast-paced environments, sharing work early and frequently while inspiring peers and articulating design decisions effectively.Have experience working on a variety of presentations and brand projects that exemplify expertise in designing brand systems, presentation designs, and illustrations.Outstanding craft with typography and content hierarchy.Are a self-motivated problem-solver with a strong track record of delivering work independently and influencing other designers, adept at managing multiple projects, detail-oriented, strategic thinker, and are experienced in cross-functional collaboration from kickoff to delivery.Are proficient in PowerPoint, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop), and Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Word).Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 5 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.Preferred Qualifications:Design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate), Driving product development in a user experience area, Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area, Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare), UI/UX, Interactive and Visual Design, Electronics Art, Multimedia Design, or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.Primary Location:680 West California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086-4834, United States of America.
