Your RoleAs a Gensler Senior Designer, your job is to combine creativity andtechnical skills with a thorough understanding of the Design and Productionprocess, to produce highly creative, environmentally conscious and budgetresponsive interior spaces for clients. You should have exceptional designskills, a background in interior architecture/design and a portfolio ofinnovative design concepts. You must be an integral part of your teams andactively foster a respectful, creative, and inspiring design environment.This is not a remote position. The successful candidate is expected to be inthe Denver office.What You Will DoResponsible for leading the design and delivery of the interior aspects of aproject that include detailed programming, conceptual design, spaceplanning, schematic design, design development, constructiondocumentation, and construction administration.Provide strategically minded design support for organization, production,and execution of design projects.Participate in seamless collaboration with internal/external teams,professional consultants, and other strategic partners.Participate in design iterations with team members in generating, 3Dmodeling, utilizing Revit, Sketchup, Enscape and/or other modeling orrendering software in conjunction with Adobe Creative SuiteLead and participate in generating interior architectural finish and reflectedceiling plans, elevations and details along with correspondingspecifications and schedules.Work with external consultants, product representatives, furnituredealers, and fabricators to realize design and budgetary goals of the client.Guide and mentor junior designersLead and contribute to office activities, help communicate key firminitiatives and learning programsWork closely with your team and across the office and firm, to promote andmodel an inter-disciplinary design approach that enhances Gensler's cultureof design quality and excellence.Your QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture10+ years of relevant interior architecture design experience withcorresponding portfolio demonstrating various phases of project work. Beprepared to show examples of Programming, Schematic, & DesignDevelopment, CD's as well as finished project photos.Ability to communicate and present design concepts and rationales. Ability toiterate to address client requests, budget considerations, existing or newarchitectural opportunities or constraints or other impacts on design concept.NCIDQ certified or Architecture license is encouragedKnowledge of sustainable and universal design concepts.
