Agency is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join team in enhancing the user experience for our financial management applications. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that support these essential financial processes.Key Responsibilities
Design and develop user interfaces for financial applications that streamline agency’s funding allocation processes, including the calculation of funding formulas and administration of Title-I allocations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that enhance the usability and accessibility of financial tools.Ensure the interface designs align with legislative requirements and support accurate, fair distribution of education funds.Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate and improve UI designs, ensuring they meet the needs of various stakeholders, including local school districts and government agencies.Maintain a user-centered design approach while adhering to agency's established branding and accessibility guidelines.Experience And Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience designing user interfaces for financial applications, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.Knowledge of web standards, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Experience with financial management processes and understanding of government funding procedures is a plus.Application Process:
