Senior Content Developer - Top SecretXcelerate Solutions is seeking a Senior Content Developer to support a team responsible for maintaining a desktop application that allows users to rapidly ingest, triage, and exploit large, complex relational datasets by applying link analysis, social network analysis, communication analysis and 3D graph visualization representing connections that may not otherwise have been found due to dataset size and scalability limitations. Come join our award-winning organization and work with some of the most talented and brightest minds in the GovCon industry.Location:On Site – Huntsville, ALClearance:Top SecretResponsibilities:+ Ensure operations and maintenance (O&M) best practices are adhered to for the Portfolio cloud and on-premises environments, systems, applications and tools+ Enhance system operations through the design, development, and sustainment of new and existing system functionality to support configuration management, automated building, automated testing, automated deployment, and automated monitoring and notification+ Understand the impacts of the cloud services used (including cost and performance), quantifying impacts through the entire workload lifecycle, and applying design principles and best practices to reduce these impacts+ Monitor and maintain software and hardware, ensuring proper system functionality with custom monitoring applications and tools such as Splunk and Grafana to ensure no degradation and continuity of operations to the mission+ Support collaborative system delivery through configuration management, automated building, automated testing, automated deployment, and automated monitoring and notification+ Create and maintain code comments or inline documentation where necessary to improve the readability of the code+ Support government personnel in the creation, modification, and documentation of all enhancements efforts, to include system design documents, standard operating procedures, operations and maintenance manuals/procedures, software development plans, and related documentation+ Deliver solutions using repeatable infrastructure as code (IaC) controlled by configuration management; promoting higher quality systems that can operate in heterogeneous processing environments+ Develop, modify, implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard the IT Portfolio and maintain compliance with Agency and NIST guidelines for system and information security. This includes any new compliance mandates set by external entities, such as Executive Orders, DOJ policies, and FISMA requirements.+ Actively monitor systems and respond in the event of a security incident through a documented and approved system security plan+ Support the management of systems security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security software+ Conduct monthly vulnerability scans, monthly Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) creation, implement patches, ensure controls are reviewed, adhered to, and modified as needed+ Meet regularly with stakeholder teams to coordinate responses to the vulnerabilities and risks identified in the scans and POAMs+ Support Government personnel obtain and/or maintain system Authority to Operate (ATO) status requiring compliance with the requirements set by the Agency’s OCIO.
