Description:- Expertise in Cisco and Microsoft VC (Video Conferencing) solutions configurations, policies, and routing over a complex WAN infrastructure (SBC, SIP, Media Gateways, VoIP, H.323, PBX, QoS), video and mobility.- Good understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP, voice policies, trunking, routing, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, etc.- Good understanding of cloud concepts especially relating to Microsoft Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect and Teams.- Building plans and policies for Microsoft Teams and associated voice and video communications services, strategies and technologies.- Ability to apply project management skills to smaller projects in terms of building a plan for tracking tasks, timelines, risks and issues- Experience supporting Pexip.- Experience supporting Cisco Telepresence systems is preferred.- Experience working with vendors to get quotes and provide cost value analysis is preferred.JOB DESCRIPTION:- Controls the technical architecture of Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks.- Researches, tests, evaluates, and recommends telecommunications and data network systems.- Analyzes workload, including traffic and utilization trends. -- Interfaces with users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors for maximum guidance in determining the most appropriate type of hardware installation.- Requires advanced knowledge and experience in the area of local and wide area networking, communications, and related hardware and software.- Supports complex PCs and LAN/WAN networks throughout the organization.- Usual requirement is a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent, and certification in networks.- Identifies areas of operation that need upgraded equipment, such as modems, fiber optic cables, and telephone wires.- Conducts survey to determine user needs.- Reads technical manuals and brochures to determine equipment that meets establishment requirements.- Visits vendors to learn about available products or services.- Tests and evaluates hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing system, using equipment such as computer terminal and modem.- Analyzes test data and recommends hardware or software for purchase.- Develops and writes procedures for installation, use, and solving problems of communications hardware and software.- Monitors system performance.- May design and develop complex software interface programs.- Instructs users in use of equipment.- Assists users to identify and solve data communication problems.- May write technical specifications to send to vendors for bid.- May oversee or assist in installation of communications hardware.- May perform minor equipment repairs.- 2-4 years of experience required.Looking for a Network Analyst to support the global team's needs with Microsoft Teams video and Cisco devices. The Network Analyst will work with technical and non-technical employees to ensure video systems are set up and working properly. They will virtually walk employees through troubleshooting steps to get them back up and running. They will support Microsoft teams dashboards to know when there's an issue with a unit, camera, etc.- Experience with Cisco devices is preferred; most support needs / issues are with Cisco devices; may need to open Cisco cases- Troubleshooting device maintenance in devices, recovering devices, etc. specifically on Cisco video conference devicesmanage any changes required for Microsoft Teams - adding users to platform, setting up proper rights, making changes to call routing & call flows, support issues with physical phones, audio across software, pulling call data and DID lists, etc. They will check user configurations for Microsoft Teams, calling, phones/devices.
