DescriptionThe AWS Cloud Storage Product Marketing team is hiring a product marketing manager for data migration and hybrid cloud storage. Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS’s most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.You will have proven product marketing experience at a storage vendor, public cloud or SaaS company, or across early- and mid-stage tech businesses. You will work with cross functional teams creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions of migrating data to AWS or building hybrid cloud storage workloads, as well as support marketing programs. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and translating complex topics into easy into an engaging content and a track record of writing and producing high quality content.We are open to hiring candidates to work in our offices in Seattle, WA or Boston, MA USA only. Millions of customers—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—are using AWS to lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster.This role can sit in either of these locations: Boston, MA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA Relocation offered to these locations only from within the USA only.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Product Marketing Manager for Data Migration and Hybrid Cloud Storage on AWS, you will have the opportunity to define the value proposition for migrating data to AWS for our customers. You will be responsible for building compelling content aligned to our migration services portfolio that drives awareness, preference, and adoption of AWS. You will also be responsible for scaling our messaging through key channels including the website, blog, events, campaigns and more. Working with counterparts in engineering and sales, you will help drive the promotion and adoption of new features and services targeted at customers looking to migrate data and workloads with AWS and our partners.• Own messaging and positioning of key strategic AWS data migration services such as AWS DataSync, AWS Storage Gateway, and AWS Transfer Family.• Collaborate with AWS product and engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits of major launches into product marketing messages.• Engage with AWS field and digital marketing teams to identify and integrate joint messaging and content into lead generation, customer engagement, and product adoption focused marketing programs.• Craft and develop compelling audience and initiative specific messages and tools (product videos, collateral specific to different audiences or campaigns, demos, presentations, how to guides, etc.)• Own content strategy and execution for key communication channels including website, blog, social, on-network promotion, events, and emails• Drive successful service launches inclusive of customer benefit messaging and positioningA day in the lifeThe product marketing team works on creating compelling positioning and marketing content to support product launches and campaigns that will help customers do more with their data on AWS. We all have a bias for action for developing awesome marketing assets (e.g., website, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, print collateral, sales enablement tools, etc.). We look for ways to measure the impact of our work on service adoptions. We transition from working on strategic plans or creative ideation to detailed execution, multiple times per day.We all work together and pick each other up when workloads shift. This helps us manage workloads and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
