At Amazon we do highly support continued learning opportunities and focus on continued employee development.WE LOVE DATA so please apply with your detailed CV which demonstrates the specific tasks you carried out as part of your current and previous roles (portfolio)!Team Management and Development:• Recruit, train, and mentor a team of BIM Designers with expertise in MEP and CSA systems.• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify professional development opportunities.• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.Project Coordination and Oversight:• Oversee the creation, modification, and coordination of new and existing documentation sets related to MEP and CSA systems.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of models with other disciplines.• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and scheduled targets.• Implement and optimize innovative workflows and techniques for developing detailed Autodesk® Revit® models of MEP systems.Quality Assurance and Documentation:• Establish and maintain quality control processes for model and documentation quality.• Ensure proper version and revision control of drawings and models.• Oversee the production of Bill of Materials (BOM) and other project-related documentation.• Facilitate the preparation and export of Autodesk® Revit® models and drawings to various formats, including open formats.Collaboration and Communication:• Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and with cross-functional stakeholders.• Coordinate with other disciplines to develop clash-resolved models and create coordinated drawing sets.• Participate in design reviews, meetings, and presentations to ensure alignment with project requirements.Continuous Improvement and Innovation:• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to BIM and MEP systems.• Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance team productivity and project delivery.• Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.One of the best parts of the role is that Amazon has a global presence therefore domestic and international travel may be necessary. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve in the cloud.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field• Proven experience in leading and managing teams of BIM Designers or related roles.• Extensive knowledge of Autodesk® Revit® and other BIM software for MEP systems and strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems design and coordination.• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications- 6+ years’ strong Revit®/ AutoCAD® experience in the area of preparing and developing detailed Revit® models and documentation (drawings) of MEP systems- 4+ years' experience of designing/modelling/drawing MEP deliverables Data Centers or other large facilities (Pharmaceutical, Fabrication Plants, Hospitals, etc.)- Excellent organization skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines- Experience working with IFC, Dynamo and/or Python™Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
