Qualifications ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Applies technical skill and knowledge to complete assigned information services tasks that adhere to appropriate information services standards and established production timelines. 2. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills to compose and deliver responses to complex questions in a clear, concise, and organized manner. 3. Advises customers in clearly defining and documenting requirements and ensures follow up to complete a task. 4. Extensive experience independently managing projects and working with customers. 5. Extensive experiences using primary Adobe Creative Cloud software to conceptualize and execute complex multimedia design requirements. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Experience working in a team oriented environment, participating and contributing as an active team player. 2. Has experience using 3D modeling software. Individual Occupational Requirements Education Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position. Some positions may also require subject-matter knowledge of medicine, science, or technical equipment. Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis. OR Experience Specialized Experience (for positions above GG-5): Experience in the actual type of work for which application is made. Unpaid experience is creditable, provided the work done was of a quality level and demonstrated the ability required for the position. This includes planning the preparation and use of photographs, illustrations, drawinGG, and other art work, charts, diagrams, dioramas, maps, slides, overlays, and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating information through visual means. Education Additional Information DIA positions are Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) positions in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. All applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. Applicants must meet the agency’s conditions of employment, to include, but not limited to, satisfactory completion of an initial special background investigation and periodic reinvestigation, completion of any required medical examination and physical requirements, completion of any required personal interviews, favorable completion of any required initial or aperiodic polygraph examinations, completion of any required drug test, satisfactory completion of a two-year Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System trial period, and completion of a civilian mobility agreement.
