PlanITROI leverages the circular economy to do social good, by turning clients returned, retired, and idle IT devices (PCs, laptops, Notebooks, smartphones, tablets, etc.) into re-certified, affordable technology solutions sold directly and through the largest retailers in the world!PlanITROI, a Nextra Tech company, is seeking a strategic, hands-on, Marketing Leader, to build, grow, and lead our Marketing & PR department and be our Chief Storyteller. The VP of Marketing will be pivotal in driving the company’s growth by developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage brand development, digital marketing, B2B marketing, customer acquisition, and retention strategies while building, leading, and growing a team of “A” players to deliver measurable results.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership, Development & Strategy:+ Build, lead, and grow a high-performing marketing team of “A” players both internally and externally fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and accountability.+ Build, manage, and grow our go-to-market strategy across all divisions establishing a strong value proposition and brand positioning, including Nextra Tech, PlanITROI, Digital Dreams Project, Tech Trade Up, and Buy Refurbished, etc. to align with overall business goals and objectives.Marketing/PR Playbook Development:+ Create a comprehensive Playbook that includes but is not limited to, Company Overview, Marketing Team Structure, Messaging, and Positioning, Product Overview, Differentiators, Buyer Personas, Use Cases, Multi-channel Marketing Methodology, Inbound Lead Generation, Marketing & Lead Generation Process and Definitions, Marketing Collateral, Case Studies, Competitor Battle-cards, Proposal writing, RFP's, RFQ's, Pitch Deck, Objection Handling, Tools and Software, Dashboard and Metrics Marketing playbooks are a means of capturing marketing best practices and communicating them to salespeople and through PR to capture the hearts and minds of our client audiences.Budget Management:+ Develop and manage the marketing/PR budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.+ Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, adjusting as necessary.Brand Management:+ Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all platforms and channels.+ Develop and execute a cohesive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growthDigital Marketing:+ Lead the company’s digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email campaignsB2B Marketing & Lead Generation:+ Develop and execute lead-generation email campaigns via email, LinkedIn, SMS, Zoom Info, etc. driving client acquisition.+ Collaborate with sales teams to create go-to-market strategies for campaigns.+ Drive online traffic, customer acquisition, and lead generation through targeted digital initiatives.+ Utilize data-driven insights to optimize digital marketing efforts and improve ROI.Content Creation:+ Craft and weave PlanITROI's unique story across all divisions, positioning yourself as the Chief Storyteller.+ Develop sales content (email, voicemail, conversation) that aligns with the mission, vision, CSR, Circular Economy, and Sustainability, of our prospective targets.Market Research and Analytics:+ Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive analysis.+ Utilize analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.+ Industry Relationships:+ Cultivate strong relationships within key industry associations such as RLA, IAITAM, Gartner, IDC, and Forrester.Qualifications:+ Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.+ Experience in Marketing in the Computer Hardware & Services industry is needed.+ 10+ years of experience in digital marketing with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, building and leading a team.+ Must be able to demonstrate you have built and led a team of “A” players you hired that would potentially follow you.+ Experience in budgeting with ROI results measured+ Expert at B2B targeted digital marketing using all the most modern tools, apps, web, AI, etc.+ Expert in creating Lead Generation Strategy and execution with all tools, tactics, and objection handling.+ Must have a proven track record of increasing sales and profitability.+ Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.+ Strong expertise in digital marketing, brand management, storytelling, and content creation.+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.+ Proficiency with marketing & sales automation tools.
