We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.Podcasts are a rapidly growing and strategically important content vertical on YouTube. Our team is responsible for improving the podcast experience for YouTube users across all platforms, driving podcast creator adoption and building innovative products leveraging YouTube’s unique capabilities.In this role, you will focus on improving the quality of the podcast corpus, build new understanding signals, and expand the notion of what a podcast on YouTube could look like.At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Apply careful analysis to identify solutions to user needs and set the road map for Podcasts Understanding and Search.+ Define and shape product direction, partnering closely with Podcasts Search and Discovery leads. Understand the levers to employ and the metrics to measure to achieve goals.+ Understand ranking and metrics deeply to navigate the team through complex prioritization decisions and weigh trade-offs needed to land significant positive user impact.+ Collaborate with multiple teams including cross-functional teams across YouTube to ensure that Podcasts corpus understanding and ranking changes are well understood. Communicate product strategy and technical details to search executives and non-technical audiences.+ Develop and lead a disciplined product development process, driving product insights and outstanding execution.
