Job SummaryRecognized specialist in flavors and ingredients design who leads and coordinates project executions for larger teams. Ensures all resources are in place to maximize project execution. Develops direct reports through training programs, coaching, and leading by example. The organization under this manager's responsibility should be more more than 4 team members or have job complexities beyond team leader role.
Description/Responsibilities:High level knowledge of recipe, ingredients, raw materials and their functionProficient in IFF's data management systems (SAP, IFFman, and Catalyst, GIAS, Salesforce.com and other relevant systems)Great problem solving skill which helps to prove effective solutionGood knowledge on flavor and ingredients legislation in the regionAble to identify and garner technical and other resources example from sensory team needed to support customer projectsStrong ability to manage high potential values project to avoid pitfalls and eliminate roadblocksStrong ability to link customer needs to IFF's capability and technologies. Able to identify flavor and texture opportunities with customers and provide feedback internally of product gaps in our portfolioPromotes, participates and supports Category aligned initiatives. Contributes to the strategy of their local execution and their positioning with customersStrong understanding of IFF's product portfolio and technologies and able to articulate relevant advantages to customers. Provide and contribute to the development of IFF's toolsFosters the use of new materials and technologies from the Innovation programs, gathers critical feedback from team for continuous refinementComfortable to lead customer working sessions, strong ability to listen to customers and deliver on their expectationsAble to translate customer needs and communicate within and outside functions to build optimal Product DesignWorks to build customer network through customer interactions at product trainings, working sessions, presentations, and industry eventsCollaborates with commercial partners to develop strategies to better serve customer needsDemonstrates IFF's technology and innovation to customers with confidenceUnderstands local vision for growth and competitive landscapeAble to solicit input and ideas from the customers and translate those into possible technologies for IFF pipeline developmentExecution of teams' development plan using SMART objectives and personal aligned with Category and business objectivesProven ability to develop people, being a good coach, listener; can provide constructive feedback, willing to mentor others within the organizationProvides challenging tasks and assignments, fosters an open and inviting environmentIs an inclusive leader, understanding different points of view and requesting feedback from others, embraces diversity in people and thinkingAble to attract, develop, engage, retain talent.
