About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Sourcing -- Marketing to lead the sourcing, production, and logistics for all marketing programs, including retail POS, and promotional materials. This position ensures materials are developed, produced, and shipped according to standards and timelines. High energy, strong communication skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and resourcefulness are critical in this fast-paced department.

About the RoleExecuting ongoing sourcing, and purchasing activities within assigned scope, drive the creation and oversee the implementation of communication plans, and develop responsibility assignments and timelinesAbility to effectively present and communicate compelling business case and commodity strategies to key leadership and managementManaging SOP, SLA and Vendor Guidelines while partnering internally to create processes and workflows catered to supporting our customersDemonstrating functional expertise in RFP, RFQ, RFI standards and processesDriving cost analysis and identifying opportunities for cost reductions and negotiationsDeveloping plans and conduct supplier evaluation and negotiation to gain supplier commitmentEnsuring successful processing of all procurement activities, which includes resolving issues and ensuring seamless maintenance of vendor accounts, and purchase orders/requisitionsOverseeing the marketing material setup process, monitor stock levels and place replenishment orders by partnering with the logistics, material master team, and DC TeamManaging multiple suppliers against cost, quality standards and delivery targetCollaborating with cross-functional partners and suppliers on troubleshooting & root causes for quality and/or general issuesPartnering with departmental peers and teams, recognizing and finding opportunities to coach and support growth for individuals.Assessing current state business processes and make recommendations to standardize and optimize opportunities.Providing support in vetting and onboarding of new vendorsLeading process improvement initiatives to arrive at best practicesDeveloping collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to develop, implement, and optimize processes and programs that enable the operations toProviding support to Business Analysts/IT for any system enhancements or implementations.About You

5-7 years of senior-level experience managing sourcing materials within an apparel/retail environment preferred.Knowledge of printing processes, and experience solving on-press issues. Requires knowledge of materials, inks, adhesives, and finishing techniques.Proven ability to manage multiple projects on budget and according to timelines in a dynamic environment.Experience in SAP, Vendor, Supply Chain, and Project Management platforms.Experience working with cross-functional teams and a worldwide supply base.Strong negotiation, organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.Some travel may be required.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, ability to bring platform experience and willingness to learn systems to support the businessAbout Ariat

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000 per year.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
