Join us as we shape the future of rewards in financial services!Join us as Senior Lead Product DesignerAscenda is seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Product Designer to join our Creative team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of product design experience in the travel and/or e-commerce B2C industry, including e-commerce and online stores. As a Senior Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for leading the creation of exceptional user experiences for our travel vertical as well as mentor the designer(s) within this team. In this role, you'll work closely with your product and engineering counterparts in Singapore as part of our three-in-a-pod model to design user experiences for our end-users.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the end-to-end product design process for the travel vertical, from user research, prototypes and low-fi wireframes, all the way to high-fidelity designs.Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in a three-in-a-pod model, from concept to delivery.Collaborate with the Design Systems team to add new components to the design system(s) and to ensure design consistency across Ascenda's products.Work closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of features.Design and conduct user testing sessions to collect actionable feedback and use these insights to enhance your designs and add features to the product roadmap.Monitor and analyze user experience performance in production, identifying areas for improvement.Conduct competitor and industry research to guide design decisions and stay up to date with the latest design trends and product features in our competitive landscape.Mentor and guide other designers within your team.What We Are Looking For:Strong alignment with Ascenda's core values of growth mindset, hands-on ownership, supportive collaboration, and radical simplicityMinimum of 7+ years of professional experience in product design in the travel and/or e-commerce B2C industryExperience in managing and mentoring designers.Experience in managing the entire product design process from start to finish independently, collaborating with engineers and product managers alike.Experience driving activation and engagement in a B2B to B2C product through the design of product-led growth strategies.Proficiency in both UX and UI: from user research, wire-framing and user testing, to creating high-fidelity designs.Expertise in Figma for creating low, mid and high fidelity user journeys, as well as creating rapid and/or detailed prototypes.Familiarity with usability testing tools such as Maze, etc.Strong portfolio showcasing outstanding user experiences.Character & Work Ethic:A creator at heart with great design aesthetics, an eye for detail, and the ability to translate research into impactful design.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.The ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team, handling multiple projects simultaneously.A fast learner with a get things done attitude.Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflicting requirements from different stakeholders.Passion for staying updated with industry trends.Always coming up with innovations and improvements, and driving these forward with great independence.What Matters at Ascenda:We are passionate, we keep things simple, we focus on results, we work together & we innovate!We have a rewarding working place that provides a:High growth environment & exponential career developmentMobile & flexible work environmentCompetitive compensationTravel perks & Employee rewardsThe salary for this position is from $110k - $130k annually based on experience, for more information, please contact us directly.Ascenda is an equal opportunity employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
