UI / UX Designer Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our client’s e-commerce team.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces for responsive and mobile e-commerce platforms.
Proficiency with Sketch, Figma, Zeplin, and Adobe Creative Cloud is essential.
Experience with user research and testing tools like Validately, UserZoom, and Adobe Analytics is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
User Interface Design: Develop visually appealing and user-friendly design solutions for our e-commerce website and mobile applications. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Sketch, Figma, and Adobe CC.
User Experience Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback. Use findings to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing professionals, to ensure design consistency and alignment with business objectives.
Design Handoff: Prepare detailed design specifications and assets for developers using Zeplin. Ensure seamless handoff and provide guidance throughout the development process.
User Testing: Utilize tools like Validately and UserZoom to conduct user testing sessions, analyze results, and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
Analytics Integration: Leverage tools such as Adobe Analytics to monitor user behavior and engagement metrics. Use data insights to make informed design decisions and improve user experience.
Design System Maintenance: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a cohesive design system that aligns with brand guidelines and ensures consistency across all e-commerce touchpoints.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices of UI/UX design.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Zeplin, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and e-commerce projects.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in UI/UX design, particularly within e-commerce.
Demonstrated ability to create responsive and user-centric designs.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with user research and testing tools such as Validately and UserZoom. Experience with Adobe Analytics for data-driven design decisions.
Attributes: Creative problem solver with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
