About the Team:The TikTok Music Content Investment Team is a newly formed team that focuses on partnership or acquisition opportunities in the music content space on a global level. The team will work with TikTok music content strategy team and operations teams in evaluating market opportunities, executing partnership or acquisition projects, performing detailed financial analysis and valuations of music content and related assets that would help shape the future of TikTok music businesses. Together, the team works with higher management on setting overall strategic direction, and be responsible for the results of partnership and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:- Responsible for creating and executing strategies to drive user operations and product strategy- Work closely with global product team to plan and launch features and services that drive growth of content supply- Design SOP and data monitoring mechanism to support regional operations to improve efficiency- Responsible for conducting ad-hoc projects such as global music market research and competitor & deal analysis- Work cross-regionally with regional teams to develop influential artists and song tracks

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or relevant fields- 5+ years experience at a reputable consulting firm or in a strategic role in a record label, artist management company or music streaming company- Strong analytical and quantitative skills- Demonstrated experience in thinking strategically about issues and working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders- High performer with commitment to operational excellence, strong data sense, and experience in partnership acquisition and development.

Preferred Qualifications:- Well organized with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines and in a fast paced environment- A great teammate mentality and positive and humble attitude- Excellent communication skills and a strong music industry network- Deep understanding of TikTok and music trends, and a natural aptitude for translating these insights into business results- Knowledge of digital music distribution, music industry trends across all genres, and a passion for music culture and entertainment
