Pharmacy Technician - Prior Authorization

Title: Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: Philadelphia, PAShift: (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension)Pay Rate: To be discussed on callAdditional Info: Prior Auth team is an 8.5 hour shift with a 30 minute unpaid lunch The shift is flexible. Starting no earlier than 730am but no later than 9am. Prior Auth is on site during the initial 8-10 weeks of onboarding, then is work from home Training to take place at 3250 S. 76th St. Philadelphia. CPHT is required The candidate needs 2-3 years of retail pharmacy experience. Experience with insurance prior authorization is helpful.Job Description: Product preparation, compounding sterile products, and maintaining the pharmacy clean room. Documentation of IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing. Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist. Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports. Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs. Maintains inventory and ordering. Communicates and acts as liaison between insurance company, patients, providers, and specialty pharmacy team. Maintains documentation relative to the job.Requirement: Must have at least 2 year's of relevant experience. BLS - AHA. Must have active CPHT /PTCB
