Job Summary

Ready to shape the future of manufacturing in Wisconsin? As the Marketing Director at WMEP, you'll lead our marketing vision and strategy, reporting directly to the CEO. You'll collaborate with senior leadership to design and execute innovative marketing initiatives that not only amplify our mission but also drive transformative growth.

This role is critical to our success, overseeing all four pillars of a customer-driven, marketing-led organization: strategic marketing, demand creation, product management, and Voice of the Customer (VOC). You will refine service value propositions, spearhead go-to-market strategies, and craft a 3-year product roadmap that drives growth. Additionally, you'll build and lead a top-tier marketing team, ensuring we have the talent and resources to meet our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic LeadershipSet the Vision:

Develop and execute a bold 3-year marketing strategy aimed at doubling sales within three years, aligning with our overarching organizational goals.Brand Champion:

Establish and implement a compelling brand positioning strategy that resonates across all channels.Plan and Adapt:

Create annual marketing plans and budgets, pivoting strategies as needed to ensure success.Demand Creation

Digital Transformation:

Elevate our digital presence by optimizing website performance, SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing, utilizing both internal and external expertise.Lead Generation:

Design and implement a comprehensive lead generation and management program to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads that convert into loyal clients.Industry Presence:

Enhance our participation in industry events, showcasing WMEP's impact through case studies, testimonials, and ROI-driven trade show strategies.Strategic Partnerships:

Expand our reach by forging key partnerships with industry associations and local economic development organizations, creating joint marketing campaigns.Product and Service Innovation

Market-Driven Offerings:

Refine and expand our service offerings to meet evolving market demands, ensuring they deliver maximum value to clients while driving profitability.Innovative Channels:

Introduce new consulting services and delivery channels, including remote and self-service options, to better serve our clients.Roadmap to Success:

Lead the creation of a 3-year product roadmap, guiding the organization through service enhancements, new product launches, and strategic rationalizations.Voice of the Customer (VOC)

Customer Insights:

Conduct in-depth research to gather VOC insights, driving product development and informing marketing strategies.Journey Mapping:

Utilize customer journey mapping and marketing funnel analyses to craft strategies that guide clients from awareness to advocacy.Organizational Development

Build the Future:

Define long-term objectives and strategies to cultivate a high-performing marketing team, recruiting top talent and developing a robust training program.Culture Catalyst:

Foster a dynamic, energetic, and achievement-oriented culture aligned with WMEP's values and mission.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging senior leaders and external stakeholders.Leadership experience with a talent for building, motivating, and mentoring high-performing teams.Experience working with external marketing service providers.Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or Marketo is preferred.Experience in the manufacturing sector or a consulting firm is a strong plus.Proficiency with Adobe InDesign Suite, Microsoft Office, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and website management software (e.g., WordPress).What We Offer
