The Marketing Operations Officer is responsible for redefining marketing operations and optimizing processes and technology to propel growth. The role will oversee all aspects of marketing operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with our business goals by developing and managing workflow processes and tools, standard policies and procedures, vendor management, and budget oversight. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented leader, and collaborative who can work cross-functionally and drive positive change.

Responsibilities

Marketing Operations & Process Optimization:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives; drive prioritization process and ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.
  • Streamline marketing workflows, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity, optimizing marketing resources.
  • Accountable for compliance and risk management implementation, ensuring marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and mitigate potential risks.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage marketing technology stack to enhance marketing effectiveness and data analytics.
  • Optimize marketing processes through automation and integration to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collaborate with CMO and key stakeholders to define marketing KPIs, set performance benchmarks, and track progress.
  • Establish data management best practices to ensure data accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze marketing data and metrics to provide insights and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance and ROI.

Budget & Vendor Management:
  • Manage the corporate marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure expenditures are within approved budgets.
  • Track and report on enterprise-wide budget performance, providing insights for resource allocation and investment decisions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring high-quality deliverables and cost-effectiveness.

Leadership and Team Development:
  • This role will lead one employee that supports marketing campaign implementation efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of post high school education and related work experience.
  • In addition to education in the field of marketing, prefer 5 years of experience in a marketing operations-related role.
  • Banking or financial institution experience is preferred
