Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications, Product, Industrial, etc.), Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

1 year of experience in product design or User Experience (UX).

Experience with industry standard design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVisio, Figma, Principle, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience working with designers, researchers, engineers, content strategists, and product managers throughout the design process (e.g., creating user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups/prototypes).

Ability to manage design issues, develop innovative solutions that address user pain points.

Ability to create compelling motion and visual designs, showcased through a combination of academic projects, personal initiatives, internships.

Ability to acquire new skills and knowledge, and make products globally inclusive and accessible.

Our work touches billions while exemplifying a key principle that is core to Google’s philosophy: “Focus on the user and all else will follow.”The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Create visual design directions for projects within the Help Experience team.

Deliver high-quality designs that are simple, cohesive, inclusive and holistic from concept to execution.

Advocate for user-centered designs and work on last-mile refinement and polish.

Collaborate with design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build innovative products.
