Reporting to the Lead Technical Experience Designer, you will work in a team to help prototype, implement and debug player-facing UI features in Apex Legends.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the UI team to help implement player-facing features that align with gameplay goals and accessibility standardsManage all aspects of UI script implementation, including: logic, data structure, and layoutWork with UX designers and UI artists to stand up prototypes and implement pixel-perfect layout and animationRefine features based on feedback, design requirements, and creative directionWork with producers and directors to estimate and prioritize work, and to help coordinate collaboration across departmentsWork with UI engineers to help inform direction of tools and engine capabilitiesRequirements:

Professional game development experience or comparable collegiate experienceExperience with scripting languages (such as Lua, Python, JavaScript, or similar)Experience with UI/UXA collaborative and inclusive attitude - listen, ask questions, and learnAn understanding of UX principles, layout, motion, and visual fidelityLocated near Los Angeles, CANice To Have:

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):º $34 - $51 USD Hourly

The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
