In this role, the Vice President of Portfolio Marketing will oversee multiple teams instrumental to driving a differentiated and competitive portfolio marketing program, including Product and Solution marketing teams, competitive intelligence and positioning, and Commercial Training & Enablement. This role will be instrumental in driving product success and will be a key leader in athenahealth’s commercialization engine, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with and advise athenahealth's executive and marketing leadership teams to define and execute an industry-leading portfolio marketing strategy, aligning with strategic business goals and growth objectives to drive ongoing market share gains.Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for athenahealth's suite of solutions, to drive optimal market position and growth in line with business targets.Execute comprehensive product marketing strategies in partnership with Brand, Integrated Comms, Segment, and Customer marketing to drive awareness, demand, and adoption for our products and solutions.Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and tri-annual product releases.Work with corporate and product strategy to analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product enhancements and market expansion.Drive competitive intelligence efforts, conducting thorough analysis of competitors' products, strategies, and market positioning to inform product differentiation and go-to-market strategies.Develop strategies for the creation of compelling proof points and value assertions that reinforce athenahealth's differentiation in the market.Lead a strategic enablement team focused on value articulation, role-readiness, and athenahealth education for Sales, Customer Success/Operations, and Marketing.Collaborate with commercial leadership to deploy new hire training and enablement programs that effectively articulate athenahealth's value proposition.Typical Qualifications
