Expertise in sales, revenue management, strategic marketing, budgeting, research, related information systems, and general business administration.

Thorough understanding of food and beverage theme operations.

Comprehensive understanding of Caribbean business acumen.

Robust analytical ability to manage historical demand, regional and seasonal competitive influences by property and market.

Ability to promptly revise pricing recommendations based on new information.

Proficiency in performing quick analyses and delivering optimized daily rate recommendations for a portfolio of properties and guest segments, extending into future growth.

Creative thinking ability with the skill to sell and implement ideas and changes with team members.

Talent in leading and motivating across departments and properties to achieve high levels of sales.

Ability to collaborate with General Managers to attain established sales targets.

Proficient with current technology and marketing strategies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities include working independently under broad organizational guidelines to achieve unit objectives, managing a department, and supervising the use of funds.

Gather relevant industry information, compose a variety of documents, and/or facilitate group discussions, while analyzing situations to define issues and draw conclusions.

Attend monthly management meetings and provide monthly departmental reports.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and/or weekends.

Conduct biweekly department meeting updates/progress on strategic marketing projects.

Flexibility is required to independently work with other departments in a wide variety of circumstances; analyze data using a variety of standardized methods.

Ability is also required to work with a significant diversity of individuals and/or groups; work with various data; and utilize job-related equipment.

Independent problem-solving skills are necessary to analyze issues and create action plans.

Willingness and ability to travel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Tourism, Business Management, and/or a minimum of 5-10 years of sales and marketing experience for a large theme property.

Relevant qualifications/certifications will be considered an asset.
