The Client is a fast-growing customer-focused manufacturer of plastic components for aerospace, marine, and many other industries. The Client will provide a unique and comprehensive training program to set you up for a successful and enjoyable sales career.Essential Job Functions:Manage project pipeline to ensure projects get done and are sent in a timely manner to customer. Schedule follow-ups on sent quotes.Be involved in production meetings to stay current and proactive in communicating to customers our progress with new tools awarded and first article schedules.Spearhead internal effort to ensure timely execution for creating part numbers, engineering masters, and material orders for new projects awarded.Keep track and set reminders for key and strategic marketing “touches” to customers and prospect customers.Create, organize, and keep up to date a marketing content folder.Provide world-class exceptional service to all customers.Other duties as assigned.Daily Activities:Build relationships with customer buyers and prospective customers in various scenarios.Help resolve issues when something is escalated without further escalation.Ensure expectations are met or exceeded upon receiving a PO or RFQ.Communicate with customers via phone or email to obtain any missing information on quotes.Follow up with quotes and send marketing emails.Engage with customers about the health of their business on a scheduled basis.Anticipate quoting needs by understanding when existing parts will fall off and what will replace them.Ensure new tooling and FAI’s stay on track or ahead of schedule and report status to customers.Skills Required:Career-oriented and self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn professional industrial sales.Competitive and driven to be the best.Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand the manufacturing side of the business.Strong positive attitude, analytical, and a quick thinker.Entrepreneurial mentality.Problem solver with the ability to think outside the box.Strong listening and communication skills.Thrives under pressure and able to meet deadlines.Willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done and take care of customers.Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task.Professional and courteous conduct.Computer literacy is required.High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.1-2 years in Inside or Outside Sales experience preferred.Company Description:Taylor Staffing is a full-service staffing agency specializing in light industrial, manufacturing, and clerical positions in the United States.
