For more than four decades, the company has been an innovator and pioneer, powering billions of systems that require the highest levels of security, safety, and reliability.Wind River helps customers across automotive, aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, and telecommunications industries solve complex technology challenges on their journey toward the new intelligent machine economy.About The OpportunityAs a member of the Product Marketing team, the Technical Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing both an outbound and inbound product and technical marketing plan to grow Wind River as a global leader in embedded systems and intelligent edge industries. You will focus on translating and articulating the Wind River product features and capabilities into customer value propositions for customers in the Automotive industry.Key Accountabilities & ExpectationsBuild compelling technical marketing content that translates product features to customer value.Research the key players, trends, motivations, needs, and challenges of the Automotive industry.Define and communicate key software capabilities, benefits, and value to customers in the Automotive Industry.Create positioning and messaging for products targeting multiple industry-specific use cases and personas.Lead and participate in cross-functional teams on specific initiatives.Create sales enablement and training content for Automotive focused sales teams.Develop close alignment with key stakeholders.Collaborate with other marketing team members on planning and implementing marketing strategies.Ensure technical product marketing initiatives and communications are consistent with corporate strategy.Measure and report back to senior management on the performance of technical marketing initiatives.About YouCore Competencies & Demonstrated Success14+ years of experience in product marketing, product management or engineering in the software industry.Mastery of the terminology, trends, motivations, and challenges of the Automotive industry.Strong understanding of the embedded industry ecosystems.Passion for and expertise with embedded software products.Familiar with functional safety certification and security standards for the Automotive industry.Strong technical writing skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to implement and execute on significant issues.Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence senior leaders.Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.EducationBachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing or Sales related field.MBA or equivalent preferred.BenefitsFlexible home office with hybrid work schedule or 100% remote.Named Top Workplace for the 8th year in a row.Wind River’s commitment to DEIB.100% Employee covered Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Flexible Time Off policy + 12 observed Holidays.401K with company match.Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA).CompensationThe annual base salary range for this role is currently $141,700 to $185,000 plus a bonus for Colorado, New York, and New Jersey residents, and $166,600 to $220,000 plus a bonus for SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, NYC, and Washington, DC residents.OUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITYWind River is committed to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.To learn more, visit Wind River at www.windriver.com.
