Product Manager - Technical II, Marketing Technology-1

Product Manager - Technical II would be responsible for the following activities:

Developing product strategy that defines roadmap objectives, derived from business needs, regional market opportunities, and technology trendsUsing the Working Backwards method, decomposing business requirements and customer experiences into features and user stories that drive the product roadmapWorks with Technical Program Managers, Developers, UX designers, and internal customers to define the details behind business requirementsEffectively articulating requirements with engineering teams and business partnersActs as the voice of the business customer and accountable for the product roadmapCoordinates across stakeholders to collect and identify feature-level development opportunitiesElicits and decomposes business requirements into user stories and technical requirementsContributes to defining the product roadmap, prioritizing the backlog while defining the acceptance criteria for user storiesRecommends trade-off decisions on product features/backlog items based on data/insightsOwns and manages product documentation ensuring features and associated documentation are clear and easily consumable by engineering teamsMakes use of user research, metrics and competitive analysis to understand the product and business needs and to inform the backlogCoordinates with interdependent teams on product requirementsWorks closely with design on the user experienceContinuously monitors feature development adjusting throughout implementation as neededReviews product demo against acceptance criteria for the feature setPrepares launches and monitors product performance, adoption, and operational health for feature setsSupports and participates in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into the featureStays aligned with GTM plans for the feature setIdentifies issues that will keep the product features from delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and works with internal teams and customer service to identify, classify, and prioritize feature-level customer issues

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
