As part of this commitment, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and passionate candidate, eager to contribute to our continued success through the following employment opportunity: Product Marketing Analyst (Fixed Income) Boston, MA, USA (hybrid)About the RoleThe Strategic Marketing team serves as a connection point between portfolio management, distribution and all areas of the Marketing organization. Team members serve as point people on product positioning, messaging and execution, as well as extensive data reporting and analysis. The team also works closely with investment team members on product planning, and development.About the TeamThe Strategic Marketing team members take responsibility for coverage of specific asset classes and associated firm investment capabilities. This position will be assigned coverage for our Relative Return and Customized Income Solutions (CIS) suite of products and will focus their efforts onsupporting those strategies.Job ResponsibilitiesMarketing interface for institutional sales channels. Work with the Relative Return and CIS teams on many data analysis requests, marketing communications, product planning and other marketing initiativesGenerate customized responses and reports for Institutional sales channelsServe as resource working on a wide variety of portfolio data reporting, analysis and quality control. Portfolio data of this nature is utilized in a variety of contexts including RFPs, RFI's, presentations, consultant databases, and in response to many ad hoc inquiries.Build and support product messaging within pitch books, RFP language, and other deliverablesWork with Marketing Information to evaluate and manage customized presentation requests (what, why, messaging, edits, etc.)Collaborate with the Marketing Communications & Marketing Information groups to perform quality control and review of marketing collateralActively participate in preparation of quarter-end deliverablesSupport production of product and distribution plansWork with product teams on product planning – strategy definition, positioning, distribution opportunitiesCoordinate and project manage new product development as appropriate working with product management and the product teamsDevelop competitive intelligence and other value add investment analysis to support sales process with particular focus on Relative Return and CIS capabilitiesActionable intelligence of broad market landscapes and market opportunity setGenerate sales specific product comparisons, vulnerable competitor analysis and product positioning in the marketplace using third party analytical toolsInterface closely with Sales, Consultant Relations, and Client Service in terms of utilizationDevelopment of value-added statistical analysis to highlight absolute, relative and risk-adjusted performance vs. peers and market indices under various market conditionsWork with Corporate Communications concerning public relations, external presentations and web cast contentLiaise with Technology and the product teams to develop and ensure quality control of various data management processes. These efforts require strong project management and problem-solving skills.Dedicated resource responsible for supporting Sales in their efforts to market our Relative Return and CIS strategiesWork effectively with internal and external constituentsLiaising with Loomis legal department to ensure compliance with standard and customized data and presentation requestsProvide timely information as needed for both Loomis (US, London and Singapore) and NatixisReporting RelationshipDeputy Head of Global MarketingQualifications & Education Requirements3-5 years investment management experience within product management or marketing strategy, consulting, relationship management, due diligence or other relevant areas.Strong knowledge of fixed income marketsProgress towards an MBA and/or CFA is desirableProject management skillsStrong quantitative/analytical ability including expertise in software packages such as Excel, Bloomberg, Zephyr, and eVestment.Marketing strategy experience a strong plusAbility to effectively interact with and influence senior level portfolio management, distribution and operating executivesGreat attention to detailComfortable managing numerous deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative, team-oriented styleProactive, can-do attitudeEEOC and Diversity StatementLoomis Sayles is deeply committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce in which talented individuals can realize their full potential and contribute to our growth and success.
