About the Team and Role:The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, will be a critical member of the Growth team at Pinecone, responsible for optimizing marketing operations, managing data strategies, and driving efficiency through data-driven insights. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing technologies, data management, and process optimization to support Pinecone’s growth objectives.For this role, we are looking for:Strategic and Tactical Experience:Proven experience in growth marketing within a PLG (Product-Led Growth) and B2B SaaS environment.Strong ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns targeting business decision makers.Experience in building and optimizing behaviorally triggered lifecycle email campaigns.Technical Skills:Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies and tools.Experience with data analysis and metrics to drive marketing strategies and decisions.Lead Management and Collaboration:Experience in optimizing lead handoff processes between marketing and sales, ensuring high-quality lead management and effective communication.Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, developer relations, and sales teams.Advertising and Budget Management:Expertise in advising on and managing advertising strategies, including budget allocation and conversion efficiency.Ability to develop and manage comprehensive advertising campaigns that drive growth and engagement.Webinar and Event Management:Experience in managing webinars and virtual events, including audience segmentation, engagement, and follow-up.Ability to work closely with partner marketing to ensure successful execution of partner events across various regions.Familiarity with integrating warm outbound tactics into overall marketing strategies to enhance pipeline growth.Team Development:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders and align team efforts with business objectives.Additional Skills and Qualifications :Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Ability to stay current with new trends and technologies in the marketing landscape and implement innovative solutions.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing operations, data management, or a related field.Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Marketing Operations and/or Marketing Data Analysis.Proven experience in writing SQL queries and operationalizing them in marketing platforms.Strong understanding of lead scoring, routing, and presentation to sales teams in a PLG company context.Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.Expertise in top-of-funnel strategies and processes for pipeline growth.Experience in defining and deploying privacy and consent management procedures for compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations.Extensive knowledge of marketing technologies and data management practices.Proven track record in process optimization and operational efficiency.Excellent communication and change management abilities.Bonus Points:Strong familiarity with Salesforce, Hubspot and BI Tools (i.e. Metabase, Sigma)Experience in creating and managing marketing dashboards and reports.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong preference for previous experience in AI/ML/Data/Developer-centric companiesPrefer early stage startup experienceFree mental health therapy sessions; free One Medical, Tela-doc, and Health Advocate subscriptionsCost-savings on gynecology, fertility, and family-building careEquity award401(k)Flexible time offPaid parental leaveAnnual Department RetreatWFH Equipment StipendDiversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) are the cornerstone of everything we do at Pinecone.
