The team builds deep relationships with clients to bridge the gap between client interests and business goals, to create innovative content strategies. The team is also responsible for consistently investigating trends and best practices to make accurate and tailored recommendations to clients. The Marketing team closely collaborates with the sales, product strategy, and compliance teams.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Marketing team is seeking a creative, highly collaborative and results-oriented Institutional Marketer for KKR’s U.S. Institutional business. The successful candidate will work closely with business partners across KKR’s Client Solutions Group (KCS) to support the goals and objectives of the distribution team. Furthermore, they will actively partner with other Marketing groups (Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Wealth, International Marketing, Events, Creative) and Compliance to create and customize content for specific marketing programs.RESPONSIBILITIESThe successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:Create and manage targeted programs and campaigns to deepen relationships with U.S. Institutional clients and prospects, including pensions, consultants, LatAm, and Canadian teams using a wide variety of marketing tools (digital, social, events, etc.)Help manage and execute, in partnership with the Events Team, the annual event and conference strategy and budget for U.S. Institutional sales team.Develop marketing collateral and resources that support effective client conversations and amplify delivery of investment insights from the product teams, including private equity, infrastructure, real estate and credit.Augment processes for generating and sharing leads with sales teams and contribute to segmentation and CRM optimization; create dashboards and share key metrics and customer insights with relevant stakeholders.Utilize strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and execute projects from beginning to end in a fast-paced environment.Develop deep partnerships and work collaboratively with sales, marketing, product strategy and compliance colleagues.QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of relevant marketing experience with public and private market vehicles, preferably with a focus on the institutional client segment.Working knowledge of private markets and an understanding of the institutional sales process, including the unique buying preferences of different client segments.Proven track record of building strong partnerships across sales and product teams.Bachelor’s degree required.CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESSStrong project management and prioritization skills, with experience leading strategic and tactical marketing initiatives.Resourceful and independent planner who is solutions-oriented and thrives on thinking critically.Standout teammate who builds positive relationships and collaborates across multiple levels of a globally diverse organization.Challenges the status quo by asking “why” and identifying new and better ways of doing things.Intellectual curiosity with a dedication to professional development and an ability to learn, stay on top of emerging trends, and competitor best practices.Thrives in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities concurrently and managing business expectations.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, takes ownership of work quality and tight deadlines, and pursues continuous improvement.Excellent communication and writing skills, including proofreading and editing.This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance. Base Salary Range $200,000 — $225,000 USD.KKR is an equal opportunity employer.
