Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join the Interior Architecture & Design team in our Washington D.C. office!The Senior Project Manager position will be responsible for the management of all interior architecture & design projects for the Washington DC Office whilst leading and mentoring assigned team members. You will be responsible for leading consultants and internal resources, managing the development of contract documents, adhering to budgets, contract facilitation and construction site representation whilst maintaining client contact throughout the life of a project.This position would work on workplace, retail and/or other commercial projects that bridge Interior Design and Architecture. A Licensed Architect is required for this position.

Responsible for the management of the projects, start to finish, you are the project leader.Utilize the company's resource groups for design, preparation of design and construction documents.Provide construction services (Site visits, review shop drawings, etc.)Be the key contact with the client, and their consultants and representatives. Achieve repeat clients through great customer service.Responsible for local, county, state and federal project code searches and analysis for each project.Be responsible for the financial success of all responsible projects.Monthly review and comment on project budget reports, invoices, and pre-billing reports.Be a technical resource (Codes and construction) to other Ware Malcomb PM/PAs.Communicate with clients, brokers, contractors, consultants, and team members.Mentor, train, and lead assigned team members.Create and lead a positive, team-oriented environment.

Senior Project Manager Qualifications:

10+ years of experience managing corporate, workplace, retail and/or commercial interior design and architecture projectsBachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related fieldLicensed Architect or in the licensure process requiredRevit skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and NewformaThorough knowledge of building codesAbility to coordinate a complete set of contract documents
