This role is anticipated to be full remote / work from home with minimal (<10%) travel required (mainly for training and occasional staff meetings or project site reviews) assuming the candidate meets the minimum home-office requirements.Responsibilities+ Program Report Drawing/Model+ Audio/video Calculations Studies+ EMP Drawing/Model Review+ Shop Drawing/Model Review+ Design Review+ Product Evaluation+ Product Research+ Infrastructure Drawing/Model+ Power/Data Drawing/Model+ AV Equipment Plans, Sections, and Elevations+ Level Drawing/Model maintenance+ Assist in major design projectsQualifications+ 1-2 years professional experience+ Relevant two-year technical degree (e.g. AS Engineering Technology), or higher+ AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification+ Experience with both AutoCAD and Revit design software+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ General understanding of commercial/institutional AV technology applications and operations, including audio systems, video display technology, audio/video teleconferencing, digital signage, AV signal management and integrated control+ Basic familiarity with commercial/institutional building design and construction, including understanding of typical building systems (i.e. HVAC, electrical, lighting, building controls, security, etc.)+ Suitable environment for audio and video calls, 90+% remote work anticipated.
