The Department has an overall budget of over $13 million and is organized into five units that employ more than 47 professional and technical staff. The Department is in the throes of exciting yet complex transformative initiatives including the County's transition to more cloud-based systems, Master Data Management, and Data Governance.The Information Technologies department offers telework opportunities for certain job classes and assignments. Please note that telework approval is not guaranteed and is determined on a case-by-case basis, considering the nature of the assignment, operational needs, and employee performance. Eligibility for telework may also be limited to specific time periods, such as after the completion of the probationary period. Employees who telework must be able to report to their County work location within two hours of notice, which typically requires residing within Northern California or Western Nevada.
