If you're creative, team spirited and have a passion for modern design, then join the team as a Senior Art Director, Email | SMS.The Senior Art Director, Email | SMS will lead the Email Creative team to deliver email campaigns that will drive engagement and concepts conversion while inspiring our customers. They will lead the design, presentation and photography concepts for creative and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent and innovative consumer-first brand presentation across channels.This is a hybrid position that currently requires 4 days out of our Chicago, IL corporate office.A day in the life as a Senior Art Director, Email | SMS…+ Deepen customer engagement and conversion by driving the creation of innovative and engaging email, social media and other digital marketing campaigns+ Lead email campaigns from inception to launch, working collaboratively across design and copy on concepts and implementation+ Drive advancements in the email channel through design, functionality, process, etc.+ Provide creative direction for email briefs by pulling inspiration, determining key messaging, skus lists and collaborate with Creative and Marketing to develop overall email strategy and design+ Collaborate with Marketing to manage core consumer growth segments including Design Trade Program, Business Sales and New Movers for US and Canada+ Work to enhance process and campaign performance to accelerate channel performance+ Create and maintain consistent email templates, standards and specifications+ Consistently approach design projects from a user-centered perspective+ Collaborate with design leads and external teams to ensure new email journeys are produced at standards that uphold/elevate the company’s brand identity+ Maintain awareness of key performance metrics and incorporate them as part of the goals of the email designs+ Develop creative point of view to support channel personalization strategy, including versioning and dynamic content plansWhat you’ll bring to the table…+ Experience in designing specifically for email and other digital marketing channels with a complete understanding of email design best practices+ An ambitious leader who brings thought leadership and high standards to the email program+ Demonstrated passion for email and other digital channels while remaining current and informed on best practices and latest trends+ Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and effective creative solutions against marketing briefs and content strategies+ Understand the nuances of customer segments within the email channel and personalization opportunities to maximize relevancy and engagement+ Possess the ability to run effective critique of creative work+ Demonstrated ability to successfully guide and move forward multiple projects at one time+ Knowledge of the home competitive retail landscape+ Social media savvy with an innate interest in modern culture and trends+ The ability to concept and execute social media campaigns as neededWe’d love to hear from you if you have…+ Must provide a link to portfolio (including password) on resume or provide PDF samples that demonstrates expertise in Email/SMS design+ Bachelor’s degree+ 7 years of relevant experience+ Experience mentoring and leading creative teams+ Extensive Graphic Design experience including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator+ Extensive knowledge and experience using the TAXI email design system or similar template building software a strong plus+ Previous experience writing HTML email code+ Previous experience with animation and motion graphics+ Strong typography skills#li-hybridEuromarket Designs, Inc., which does business as Crate and Barrel and CB2, will be referred to as “the Company”.
