**Corporate Communications**The Corporate Communications job oversees and advises on organizational communications for a variety of internal and external communications materials and media. As a recognized expert in communications, this job develops methods to analyze engagement on media platforms and improves the efficiency and effectiveness of communications.**Key Responsibilities and Duties**+ Directs communications project timing and progress to ensure timely delivery of final drafts.+ Coordinates with internal and/or external print and/or design vendors on communications publication production and distribution activities.+ Provides expertise to managers and senior executives on developing organizational messages and translating into the appropriate communication formats that maintain clarity and accuracy of message.+ Develops communication strategies for organizational initiatives, in alignment with goals from senior leadership.+ Conducts final review and/or provides approval of communication drafts before production and/or official release, ensuring consistency of messages across all communication channels.+ Guides staff involved in any communication events or presentations.**Educational Requirements**+ University (Degree) Preferred**Work Experience**+ 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred**Physical Requirements**+ Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work**Career Level**9ICThe Sr. Director, D&CX Strategic Storytelling & Communications will spearhead our strategic, executive level storytelling and internal communications. They will ensure the strategy, progress, results, and impact of the work of the Digital & Client Experience team, as aligned to the TIAA Delight our Clients strategy, is clearly defined and communicated, and is connected to the broader Enterprise and line of business strategic frames. The role will also lead and execute the cadence of internal comms within the D&CX organization, in support of activities to build positive and connected associate culture, reinforce alignment to the strategy and TIAAs transformation, and developing other critical messaging materials. The role will report to the CAO of Digital & Client Experience (D&CX) and provide direct support for the SEVP, Chief Digital & Client Experience Officer, with close partnership with the other members of the D&CX leadership team.The role will define and own a consistent framework for sharing our strategy, and must be skilled in the development, creation, and advancement of data driven, visually compelling presentations, artifacts, and deliverables. Core position capabilities include executive-level storytelling, developing and evolving an engaging client experience narrative, creating high-impact internal and external strategic presentations and messaging materials, and delivering executive business strategy materials.This position requires a proactive/creative strategic and critical thinker and strong communicator who can connect our transformational client experience strategy to the TIAA enterprise strategy and develop business/organizational presentations for use and comms with different internal audiences.**Required:**+ 5+ years in management consulting, communications/storytelling, marketing, corporate strategy, or customer experience**Preferred:**+ 7+ years in management consulting, communications/storytelling, marketing, corporate strategy, or customer experience+ Master of Business Administration degree+ Excellent creative, presentation, and writing skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex business and financial information in a simple, engaging, and compelling way+ Strong storytelling skills and capabilities; experience in creating engaging presentations and coordinating content from subject matter experts into a cohesive story for executive level presentation and delivery+ Ability to author and coordinate basic internal comms needs for D&CX EC leader (including org announcements, Board memos, etc.)+ Experience developing and executing communication strategies that support major organizational changes and transformation+ Organized, deadline-driven, flexible and capable of delivering results on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment+ Self-starter who can quickly assess and interpret facts and trends to develop and synthesize key messages into a variety of communications materials including presentations+ Interest and proven ability to both influence partners and colleagues without authority but also “roll up sleeves” and produce deliverables+ Ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and provide proactive, strategic communications counsel+ Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment+ Experience successfully navigating a large, complex, matrixed organization+ Ability to occasionally work unpredictable hours, when necessary+ Ability to travel (approximately 10%)Related SkillsAudience Insights, Commercial Acumen, Communication Channel Management, Communication Strategy, Consultative Communication, Content Development, Continuous Improvement Mindset, Relationship Management, Story Telling, Strategic Thinking, TIAA Products/Services Acumen**Anticipated Posting End Date:**2024-09-23Base Pay Range: $148,900/yr. - $210,000/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
