Similarly, retirees can maximize their health benefit dollars through flexible, tax-advantaged medical spending and savings accounts.As the Participant Communications Lead, you will own the strategy, planning, and execution of participant communication efforts that build trust, engagement, and loyalty. In this highly visible and strategic role, you will lead and shape the participant communication strategy and experience. From awareness to activation to engagement to governance, you will set the standard as a leader and a hands-on contributor, reliably and efficiently producing exceptional work that drives business outcomes.This position is currently remote, with the potential to work in an office in the future. If you want to build your current skills, learn new systems and solve problems creatively, this is your opportunity.Note: Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.**The Role**Big picture, you will contribute to new business activities and inspire engaging messaging to reduce friction and increase the understanding and usage of the following types of spending accounts:+ Health Saving Accounts (HSAs)+ Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs)+ Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts (HCFSAs)+ Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (DCFSAs)+ Lifestyle Spending Accounts (LSAs)+ Commuter Accounts+ Tuition ReimbursementYou will work across print, web, mobile, and other digital platforms, crafting creative solutions across the customer journey. You'll also translate client objectives into beautiful communications that move participants to action – or, at a minimum, make them smile.Essential job functions+ Lead communication strategies that drive the participant experience maintain high retention and mitigate noise.+ Create clear, beautiful messaging that inspires participants, encourages engagement, and builds brand equity.+ Define go-to-market communication strategies, communication "packages," and programs that help active employees spend and invest wisely and help retirees reduce reimbursement friction.+ Support new client sales by articulating the value of our communication packages and how they drive results for clients and their employees.+ Collaborate with Product, Client Services, Operations, and Clients to set and achieve business objectives.+ Create both custom client campaigns and seasonal book of business campaigns to drive business outcomes.+ Balance long-term strategy with short-term results focused on execution in a highly matrixed environment.+ Perpetually test to target, refine, and maximize communication programs; develop executive-level dashboards for reporting.+ Lead, as a player/coach, source and manage specialized resources for additional capacity and impact.Keys to Success+ Make considered decisions, defend your choices, and be ready to revise your opinions in the face of compelling arguments because you care — deeply — about making your work the best it can be.+ Have high expectations for yourself and the people around you.+ Solutions-oriented and adapts quickly to the constraints and challenges of a fast-paced business with a small team.+ Act as a player/coach willing to roll up your sleeves and execute in a highly matrixed environment.+ Act as a decisive, agile leader who quickly digests and acts on new information.+ Adept at matrix/influence management; eager and able to collaboratively interact with and align stakeholders.+ Skilled communicator, able to develop and present executive-level presentations to internal and external audiences, gaining stakeholder buy-in. Master's Degree preferred.+ 10+ years of relevant professional experience reflecting steady growth in responsibilities, preferably within accounts, health insurance, and/or banking.+ Experience leading teams and managing writers and graphic designers.+ Experience creating campaigns to build awareness to meet engagement goals and overall business objectives.+ Experiencing working with spending accounts, health insurance, or financial products.+ Experience presenting to clients/prospects.+ Experience using performance data to make informed decisions about how to reach and move participants to action.+ Proven experience asking the right questions to get the information you need to write compelling copy.+ Demonstrate a solid command of the structure of language, both formal and informal.+ Possesses a wide breadth of writing abilities from long-form to headlines to calls to action.+ Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and clients.+ Impeccable attention to detail and project management acumen.+ Excellent people skills, team player, and the ability to influence through conversation.+ Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and improve processes creatively.+ Organized and able to work on multiple projects with multiple teams.**Compensation and Benefits**Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation.
