Though we can never replace her, we are looking for a hungry, passionate, and optimistic human to script, style, prop, shoot, light, edit, animate, make into gifs, do some motion graphics, design, or whatever it takes to take our social content creation to the next level. You, creative powerhouse, will be crafting engaging and compelling content that captivates audiences from all the platforms, espcially using video. In this role, you’ll work with the Director of Social, Director of Brand Creative, and our awesome team to bring optimism to life across our social channels. We save the robots for our operations teamRequirementsYOUR OBJECTIVEYou bring optimism to life across all the Life is Good social channels through your work. You will concept, design, shoot, edit, light, animate, create gifs, motion graphics, and whatever it takes to elevate our social content.YOUR JOBEssential Duties and Responsibilities+ Craft narratives, produce multimedia content, and analyze trends to ensure that our content captures attention and fosters interaction+ Work with internal partners to develop a monthly social content calendar for Life is Good’s social channels –Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest, YouTube, and more+ Manage social content creation through the entire cycle from conception, scripting, filming, publishing, and performance+ Participate in internal briefings, creative presentations, and creative assessment+ Review and route assets for approval to internal stakeholders, ensuring all content is aligned with the brand guidelines and ladders up to the strategy+ Stay up-to-date on emerging social media trends, news, memes and formats and use this to help inform our unique content strategy+ Help increase engagement with followers and grow the number of followers on platforms+ Leverage social listening data and consumer engagement to optimize current and future campaigns+ Proactively monitor ongoing social and cultural conversations to identify and implement “real time” opportunities to amplify Life is Good’s voice+ Work with Copywriters and Designers to produce and deliver outstanding creative work that works+ Assist in creating time-sensistive topical and reactive content and community responses, then escalate when appropriate+ Deliver expertise on our content library by keeping content updated and relevant, repurposing existing content, identifying content gaps, and recognizing opportunities to expand library to meet sales and marketing needsYour Experience and Qualifications+ You bring the knowledge gained from your 2+ years prior social media experience at a brand, a digital agency, online publication, or in the marketing-related industry+ You are active on social platforms and know the intended use of each+ You are a storyteller at heart – you know how to connect with audiences and get your point across with impact+ You write and speak clearly, simply, and in the brand voice+ You’re brave and embrace being the face on camera+ You are confident and never shy away from a challenge+ You work well with teams and adapt and figure out how to solve problems on your own+ You have created measurable effective standout content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YT Shorts, Snapchat+ You are an expert user of industry tools e.g. Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)+ You prioritize effectively and get things done in a changing, fast-paced environment+ You work well independently and as part of a teamYour Personal Attributes+ You are a rational optimist+ You learn very quickly and apply what you've learned immediately+ You are naturally organized and detailed-oriented+ You are equal parts creative and analytical+ You are energetic and thrive on helping others succeed+ You accomplish measurable outcomes through outstanding collaboration+ You have a knack for finding the root cause of complex problems and providing solutions+ You learn and adapt to changing priorities quickly+ You constantly reassess priorities without creating stress or drama for yourself or anyone else+ You are friendly, fun, hardworking, nurturing, courteous, and accessibleYOU'LL KNOW YOU'RE SUCCESSFUL WHEN+ You meet your annual goals+ You are viewed as a cultural leader at Life is Good+ Everyone involved in social projects can effectively collaborate with you and expect excellent and timely results+ The people and teams who rely on your work point to specific ways you have elevated the brand’s social feedsBenefitsWe are located in the innovative and thriving Fort Point neighborhood.
