If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a product marketing champion to join our Databases Product Marketing team within Data and AI Software Product Marketing. As a Product Marketer, you will be responsible for articulating the point of view of audiences we serve and creating the value proposition for IBM Db2 for z/OS products to grow and achieve critical revenue targets for a core IBM business. You will lead cross-IBM campaigns and product-level marketing and communications efforts to support pipeline generation and retain and grow our Db2 for z/OS install base with new AI and analytics software offerings. You will collaborate with teams across geographies, including Marketing, Product Management, Sellers, and Business Partners.In the role, you will drive the outcome of connecting differentiated POVs with the right buyers and experts, measured by client interests and qualified leads, new signings, retention rates, average customer value, NPS, win loss rate, analyst ranking, and social influence.Your primary responsibilities include:Act as the market catalyst for Db2 for z/OS and its new data and AI software tools, providing guiding views on key problems, competitors, and differentiators grounded in data+ Leverage deep customer, market, and competitor insights to build persona profiles and identify priority use cases that address client needs+ Translate technology into marketing messaging and compelling stories that influence analysts, customers, and partners towards IBM's offerings+ Build go-to-market strategies with global sales, strategic technology partners, and product management to create and capture market demand+ Act as the marketing launch linchpin that galvanizes internal support across all marketing, sales, partners, and product channels and drives demand for new product features and product introduction+ Source client stories, product claims, and proof points that strengthen the persuasiveness of product messages and establish our differentiation+ Define narrative and develop content for industry, 3rd party, IBM and partner-led events, conferences, and webinarsThis is a hybrid role where attendance to the office will be required 3 times per week.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Experience in Product or B2B Marketing+ Experience creating marketing business plans+ Interest in the following software: generative AI, hybrid cloud, data and analytics+ Experience working and communicating with groups of different backgrounds and skills to enable collaboration+ Strong communication skills and verbal skills (one-on-one as well as presentation skills) as well as writing skills with the ability to tailor marketing content to different audiences+ Experience managing multiple priorities at once, prioritizing tasks, and shifting in an environment of continuous changePreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies+ Experience developing audience strategies (e.g., understanding and prioritizing potential audiences based on key behaviors/characteristics)+ Technology partner management experience, including understanding buyer behavior and business models collaborating with partner technologyAbout Business UnitIBM Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) team represents a variety of functions such as marketing, finance, legal, operations, HR, and more, all working together to solve some of the world's most complex problems, help our clients achieve success and build collaborative work environments for IBMers.Your Life @ IBMAbout IBMLocation StatementIBM offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits program. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
