Graphic DesignerDarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Journeyman Graphic Designer to support a federal government client in McLean, Virginia, positions are also available in Bethesda, MD.Responsibilities+ Develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products+ Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests+ Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience+ Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products+ Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online+ Ensures products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances+ Conducts technical quality checks+ Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles+ Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference mapsMinimum Qualifications+ Requires BA/BS and 3+ years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience.+ TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required+ Experience with the following:+ Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products+ Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS+ Photography and video editing+ Mentoring and trains junior staff+ Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user friendly experience+ Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products+ Developing design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online+ Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances+ Conducting technical quality checks.Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO):At DarkStar Intelligence LLC, we firmly uphold Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) as a foundational principle, underscoring our dedication to fostering a workplace free from discrimination.
