Passion for the customer and their experience with our products is a key requirement for you.Come help us take this to the next level!Key job responsibilitiesAs a front end engineer in Demand Products team, you will:- Own the design and delivery of software services and website stacks that entail engaging creatives, cross-screen placements, targeting, optimization, relevancy and advertiser experiences.- Build innovative cross advertising products experience, global navigation with configurable features within the Amazon Advertising website to enhance the advertiser experience and productivity.- Interface with teams across Amazon; discovery, retail category, traffic generation, vendor management and analytics among many others. This is a great opportunity to learn many facets of advertising and retail, and understand how they come together, equipping you with the skills to grow your career.- Innovate and deliver in a fast, agile and reliable manner with high quality and low technical debt. You should be passionate about building, improving and championing the product and a strong sense of ownership is a must.- Work with product managers, UX designers, software development managers, software development engineers, and quality assurance engineers to raise the bar on product and technical quality.Basic Qualifications- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and reactPreferred Qualifications- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node- Familiarity and working knowledge of java and interaction with backend systemsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
